What Drives Everything We Do
To bring together LGBTQIA+ people and allies from the tech and startup ecosystem – and give them the community to connect, grow, and create change together.
THE WHY
Where It All Started
QueerNext started with a simple observation: queer communities existed, but most were either too casual or too corporate. What was missing was a space for ambitious LGBTQIA+ people and allies who wanted more than just socializing – people who wanted to connect meaningfully, grow professionally, and create real change.
So we built it. A grassroots community rooted in the belief that queer people, connected and supported, can create outsized impact – not just for themselves, but for the companies they build and the world they shape.
We're not a DEI initiative. We're not here because it's trending. We're here because the work matters.

Who can join QueerNext?
QueerNext is open to LGBTQIA+ people and allies who are active in the tech and startup ecosystem – whether you're a founder, operator, investor, or just getting started. If you're building something and care about doing it with purpose, you belong here.
Are your events free to attend?
Our events are open to everyone. We typically offer a free open ticket for those who need it, and a supporter ticket for those who can contribute – helping us keep events accessible for the whole community.
How do I stay up to date on upcoming events?

How can I get involved?
There are many ways to be part of QueerNext. The easiest is to join one of our events and bring a friend along. We're also always looking for volunteers who want to help shape the community behind the scenes. And if you're a founder or work for an organisation that shares our values, reach out – we're always open to partnerships.

QueerNext is a grassroots community initiative, not a registered entity. We operate independently and are not affiliated with any company or institution – which keeps us community-first and free from commercial interests.
